LAB IN A BOX AND VIRTUAL LAB

Explore the phenomena of physics from your own location through our innovative programmes, ‘Lab in a Box’ and ‘Virtual Labs’. Through hands-on experimentation and advanced simulations, you develop practical skills aligned with traditional laboratory learning outcomes and deepen your understanding of physics.

SIMULATION PHYSICS OF QUANTUM SYSTEMS

Research in simulation physics advances quantum systems through condensed-matter and quantum transport theory. Predictive modelling of quantum behaviour supports the analysis and design of components for complex technological applications.

MACHINE LEARNING FOR NANOSCALE MODELLING

Machine learning methods are applied to quantum and condensed-matter modelling to optimise structures, predict physical properties, and accelerate simulations. This integration of artificial intelligence with physics enables efficient exploration of complex physical systems.

Professional education

FPGA-related teaching and research activities, including applications in quantum technologies, are supported by the AMD University Program (AUP) through access to Vivado Enterprise.
