Undergraduate Physics Excellence Scholarship

Orion University is building a strong community in Physics and Mathematics. The Undergraduate Physics Excellence Scholarship recognises applicants with outstanding academic potential who plan to study Physics at Orion University.
Award value
- 30–50% tuition reduction
- Up to 70% may be awarded for exceptional profiles (limited and highly competitive)
- Scholarships apply to tuition fees only and cannot be combined with other Orion University awards. The highest single award will be applied
Who may be eligible?
Applicants who:
- have a strong Physics/Mathematics background with a final school average of ≥ 80% (or equivalent GPA/grades in national systems)
- hold an offer for an eligible Undergraduate Physics programme at Orion University
- submit a brief statement of merit (≤ 300 words) outlining academic achievements, interests in Physics, and goals
- can provide official transcripts/grade reports
Selection criteria
- Demonstrated academic excellence in Physics/Maths (grades, exam results)
- Quality and clarity of the 300-word statement (motivation, curiosity, problem-solving)
- Achievements or enrichment (projects, competitions, research exposure)
How to apply

Accept your offer for an eligible Undergraduate Physics programme.

Complete the Funding Form and upload required documents:

transcripts/grade report (and translations if applicable)

300-word statement of merit

passport/ID page (for identity verification)

Applications are assessed on a rolling basis; decisions are normally issued within 7–10 days of a complete submission

Successful applicants receive an updated offer letter reflecting the award and fee schedule (bi-monthly instalments available)

- Applications open: now
- Final deadline: 31 December 2025 (or earlier if places are filled)
- Decisions: within 10 business days of a complete application
- Offer confirmation & fee deadline: as stated in your scholarship email (typically 14 days after award)
Terms and conditions
- Scholarships are tuition-fee reductions; no cash alternative is available

Combining awards: The discount cannot be combined with other scholarships or discounts offered by Orion University; the highest single award will be applied
- Recipients must enrol by the stated deadline and remain in good academic standing
- Orion University reserves the right to vary or withdraw awards in line with policy
