4. A Maritime Topic Proposed by the Candidate Student, subject to acceptance by the supervisor.
Entry Requirements
Applicants should normally hold a relevant master’s degree. Applicants with a relevant bachelor’s degree may also be considered where they demonstrate strong academic performance and appropriate research or professional experience.
English language: GCSE English Language grade 4/C, IB English grade 4 at Higher Level, IELTS Academic 6.0 overall with at least 5.5 in each component, or a recognised equivalent qualification. Alternative evidence of English-language proficiency may be considered by the Admissions Committee.
Admission is subject to the suitability of the proposed research and the availability of appropriate supervision.
